i have heard of the recall but never got the years that it includes. i have a 98 lariat. and i guess i should just take it in. does anyone know what it is for anyway?

Also go to ford.com, search for 'my ford' and register your truck. Once you register, upgrade your registration to include VIN under maitenance you'll see a selection to safetey and recalls....it'll tell you what the deal is and if your vehicle is affected.
