Actually you are one of the many who have had this fire. NHTSA has hundreds of reports covering many model years outside the current recall.
To everyone else,
While it may not happen to you, if the CCDS is connected in your 04 or older model vehicle the chance still exists that your truck could BBQ itself.
Disconnect the switch yourself if Ford won't do it.
