1/8 drag race times

1/8 drag race times

I had went drag racing today in the 1/8 and my truck haves the 4.6 with 40 series flowmasters and a gotts intake and I was getting in the 11.160 times and i was wondering if that is good

umm i ran 9s with a 300cc four wheeler, but since these trucks are heavy, that may be rite.

what tires, gears and cab/bed configuration??? plus it's hot

based on comparing my best 1/8 time with yours, you should run low 17s in the quarter.

^ should be about a 17.2-17.3 in the 1/4 at about 80-81mph. my V6 did a 11.2281@62.86 in the 1/8th on one run on my way to a 17.2992@81.81mph 1/4. thats the closest i could find to what his was. granted a V8 might pull a little harder off the line or at speed so time and speed could be a little off from what i wrote. and my best time is in my sig with my V6 with just an intake at the time altho i have broken 82mph but at a slower time.

Best time in 2011 screw 2wd 5.0 10.042 @ 71.23.

Broke the 10 second barrier in the 1/8 drags using e85 fuel in the 2011 5.0. Got a blistering 9.96. LOL

Cool for braking the 10 seconds barrier... I kinda always had a thing about 1/8 mile times, although everyone is all about the 1/4 mile.
