So.... I got a good view of what big tires. and 3.55 gears can do.... err... NOT do.
I ran my truck twice on the track last night as a test and tune. 18.3 both times.
so a six inch lift 35x12.5r18 tires and 3.55 gears = slow as $#&@
so now I cannot wait to get gears in my beast. weird thing is the truck "Feels" faster than my 1996 yet its much SLOWER.
truck specs.
2003 F-150 ext cab. afe intake and edge programer. (edge was on level 2) magnaflow cat back exhaust.
6 inch fabtech lift with 35 inch tires on the stock 3.55 gears.

The transmission temp never got above 120 going down the 1/4 mile, And I don't think doing 2 runs to get a baseline was gonna hurt it.
never the less yeah I agree no one should race a truck with huge tires and 3.55 gears.
im going 4.56 for gears. and I am ordering a valvebody in the near future (any recommendations?)
also I am getting different tires. something thats lighter but still 35 inches.

wow, just goes to show how fast the 6.2L Raptor really is. I've seen high 15's from stock Raptors (on 35's).
