I have been running a 100 shot of nitrous in my bone stock '88 302 for a year now and have never had any problems (i only run the 1/8 mile). I was wondering if i could run a 150 shot and be fine (as long as i tune the engine right). Any help is appreciated!!

 

I know the 302 can handle it, but only for a little while before you need to upgrade and replace rings and seals. Id say stick to the 100 shot and upgrade some internals to handle the more juice you want and when thats done then add a bigger shot.

 

Thanx for your help!! I figure ill try running the rest of the season on a 125 or 150 shot, i am going to build a 347 for next year and wouldnt be horribly upset if I break a few parts....
