Question Clickable smilies

I have seen this on other messageboards too but why is an cs always inserted at the bottom of your message if you forgot to add one.
It is not inserted where you put your cursor, but always at the bottom of your message.

Just wondering.

Well tehcnically, the focus of your cursor is no longer in the body of the message when you click on a smilie, it has moved to the actual smilie (remember, you are using a web browser, not Word), it then returns to the end of the message and adds the smilie by design. I agree that it should place the smilie where you had the cursor in the message...and I think that the next major release will allow for that if you are using IE.
