Is there a way to have the 'show signature' box automatically checked when you post? Or do you have to click it everytime you make a post? Thanks.

 

All of the features of the site have 'default settings'. Some are controlled by the user and some by the Webmaster. The signature 'On/Off' feature is webmaster controlled.

Sometimes a member will respond in a thread more than once. It really isn't necessary for the signature to appear in the thread more than once. With the default set to 'No' the signature will appear multiple times only when the member willfully makes it so.

Otherwise, the member could claim innocence in this activity.
If a thread is multiple pages long it would seem reasonable for a member to 're-apply' their sig if their previous post were not on the current page providing that their signature did indeed offer insight to said post.

I have over 3500 posts. Think how miserable you'd be with my sig on here that many times.

 

I like it the way it is that way when or if i want to add my sig I can if I don't want to then I wont besides most of the older members know what I have so I don't post it as much as I use too.

 

Now that I think about it...you guys are right.
