Help with chat, Steve? will not scroll??
I recently bought a new computer, which was the reason I was asking about the e-mail thing. Anyway, when I log into chat it doesn't quite work like it used to. The only real thing that is different is that the screen will not auto scroll. I have to scroll it manually, which gets quite annoying and frustrating to say the least. Are there any chat settings that I can change that will help? This seems to be happening only in OSX.1, the main operating system on my laptop. Thanks for any insight you can give.,,,,98
I think you may have answered your own question.
I am going to *guess* that there is a bug in the Java Virtual Machine on Mac OSx or that there is a bug in the Java chat applet.
Either way, I will contact the vendor and let them know about this strange behavior...

Last night after everyone had left, I decided to do a little research. I hit "....." and return (it's the enter button for macs, lol) what seems like hundreds of times. Once you get to a certain point, and the scroll tab on the side is minimized to it's smallest, it begins to scroll like it should. However, it won't do that until you get a multitude of lines on the screen. It won't start scrolling when you reach the bottom of the first screen, which is the main hassle. I can just see myself entering the room when it's full, and asking for forgiveness while I fill the screen with line after line of gibberish. LOL! Maybe it's an incentive to get in there first, eh? Thanks for looking into it for me!!! I appreciate it!,,,,,98
BTW: I guess I should get my photos loaded onto this thing and try my gallery uploads!! It just occurred to me that I haven't tried it yet.
