I'm using Netscape for my internet connection and
on this website the respone time is very slow. Is
this a common issue with Netscape users?

My response has been sporatic today but, I'm not surprised.
The Webmaster has the hood up working the 'Search'.

(In fact, I'm surprised the site is up at all)

 

Non v6 versions of Netscape are terribly slow on all sites that use this software (and other popular forum software)...if you are using v4.x I'd recommend upgrading and you will see a significant performance increase...tomorrow...

As Raoul mentioned, I am currently rebuilding the search index, a process that puts a tremendous load on the server...the strain is about 8 times greater than during peak times.
