I keep getting unregistered!

Okay - I'm on my own computer, I accept cookies & I am here as much as I am at Church which, for those who don't know me is a LOT!
I was wondering why, after posting message all morning I go to reply to 1 & I get the "Unregistered User" message? It's happened when I first log or or after having been active on the boards - doesn't seem to fit any pattern. Any ideas or suggestions? Is it just another server glitch? (bad, BAD server! LOL!)
I appreciate any help or ideas - thanks!

You're using something that removes 'cookies' from your computer -- or have once told it not to "remember me".

Moo,

I suspect that the problem is being caused by a setting on your end, not the site or the server. Nothing has changed here that would affect cookies in a few months. Have you updated your browser lately?

But......

.....it only happens here & it doesn't happen every single time either! I just logged on w/o problems, hit reply & I'm replying. Other times I have to log in - I don't understand it. Not to stir up a hornets nest but I don't post at World nearly as often & it never happens there or at other sites I use frequently.
As for updating the broswer, I unfortunately use Compu Serve & have the latest edition plus it updates itself whether I like it or not. I can't do any updating on my own.
I just find it puzzling that this is the only site doing this so that's why I assumed it may be related to the recent server problems. I'll log in if I have to - I just don't understand it & that drives me nutty! BE NICE OK? LOL!

A thought...

Take a look at the URL (address of the page)...

When you have login problems, do you see:

www.f150online.com or f150online.com...

In the world of cookies, the domain f150online.com will not recognize www.f150online.com...

If this is the case, add the www. to the beginning of the address and you should be logged in.

If that is not what is going on...

i have this happen to me every once in awhile too ... as a matter of fact it did just now for me to post this . I don't accept cookies ... i know you just have to type in name & password again , but it's still a pain .
If you don't accept cookies, then cowlady's problem is not happening to you. You will have to type in your username and password every time by not accepting cookies.

I understand that I have to log in every time I come to the board ... but after I log on and browse awhile , maybe post a reply or two then go to another fourm and try to post another reply it (sometimes) says that I am not regestered and I have to log in again. no big deal though ...

Happens to me too. Not often though, every now and then.
