Thumbs down Is this the Lightning Furum, or BS Forum?

IMHO there is WAY too many people starting threads that are not even remotely related to the L in this Forum. If you want to talk about your favorite badminton team, or how many squirrels you bagged last Saturday, talk all you want about it in the General Forum. I'm sick of weeding through all the junk in this Forum to find good information or exchanges about the awesome Ford Lightning. Sorry for being grouchy, but this stuff is getting old.

You know, I went to hunter safety school and got a hunting license so I could bag squirrels when I was 16 or 17. Then I went into the woods with my gun to shoot one.

However, the thought of whacking a squirrel with a firearm was much more appealing to me than the concept of skinning it and eating it or something, so I just shot at trees for a while.

That was the last time I ever even thought of going hunting, but many a sapling has met its end before the business end of my mighty blunderbuss.

Ron

Looking at the first page here all but 1 post are DIRECTLY related to Lightnings or issues with the new board. Starting tonight I will move all BBS software issues to the Questions About The Site? Forum.

I ran over a squirrel with my L and almost got it on the roadkillCAM. Too bad though, the camera was on the left rear axle and the right rear tire nailed the squirrel.

BUMMER! Would have made a great video. Imagine the hysteria from the Sierra Club and PETA (especially if I emailed it to them)!

BTW, I'm serious. The only thing I got on tape was a THUMP.

spike

PS. To date, it's been my best kill with the Red Truck. Actually, it's been my only kill.

Well my dog finally caught his first squirrel in the back yard the other day..............

Hey Rons if all you want are the "facts, mam" go read the FAQ, do a serch and then hit the road. Most of us like the occassional diversion and we all like it on one forum not split up into 10-15 forums. So as they say in the Russian Marines, Toughski *****ski.

I bagged me a live squirrel just the other day. I made a squirrel sized fishin pole for him. Now I send out my squirrel to go catch me some fish.

The L can get a little squirrelly and fishtail on a wet road. You have to be real careful.

Here's my boy Blazer going after a deer (I guess the I'mgunnokillyoudeerCAM). Short clip, no kill, no blood.

After this hike, we both got back in my Lightning and went for a drive. Seriously, no bs.

and another of him after a squirrel.

After this, I went for a drive in my Lightning. He stayed home. Again, no bs.
