My guess, someone did a search, and found the most applicable thread, and had a clarifying question / comment on the topic.

I always thought the vast amount of information on this site was one of the things that set it apart from the other F-150 sites, which includes information back to the start.

Some members complain that the "same old topics" are in new threads, others when the search is used and the threads are old.

I guess nobody should post anything....

Morning everyone!

Sscully is right on

There is a vast treasure trove in the older posts if one would only look - and looks like some have - good for them.

However - I'm guilty of posting in a couple of those - but my excuse is 'cause I'm old & can't see worth chit so I didn't notice the timestamp. Sorry about that

New. Old. It's all good - and is a huge differentiator.

Cheers!

I agree there's a treasure trove of info here - I've learned and now know more about the truck I'm driving than any other vehicle I've ever owned, largely thanks to this forum. It just seemed odd that all of a sudden I'm running into so many threads that are several years old - and in some cases where the information presented seemed out of date.

I was'nt complaining, just curious.

Thank Google search for that, someone tries to find something out, they find a 4 year old thread, join the forum, make one post and then never post again.

I don't have a problem with old threads being brought back if it's for a relevant reason and not some person that joins for nothing more than to find one thing out and never return or contribute.

Complain complain complain... WTF No matter what you do, there will be someone who'll complain about it. I'll bet there is someone right now who does not like my opinion on this matter.

Can you blame people for dredging up old threads when everyone chews on them for not searching before posting?
