The signature is saved under your public profile ( small picture and a list of options ).

When you make a post, below the Reply to Thread box is another options box called Additional Options.

In the additional options box is an option (Miscellaneous Options) that needs to be checked with each post you want the signature included with called Show your signature.

I assume you have show signatures enabled under UserCP ( i.e. You can see other members signatures ).
This is Edit Options -> Thread Display Options -> Visible Post Elements -> Show Signatures

The only time it is automatic is when you use the Quick Post window under each thread. Thit is, if you have the signature box on the right side, checked.

yea i usually use the quick reply box below and the "show your signature" box is always checked, but if i "go advanced" or quote someones post then i have to manually check the box.

What do you have right under the quick reply box in the "options" block?

If you do not have the signature made, the option does not show up.

I don't see a signature in your profile, so what you are describing is exactly what I see ( I don't have a sig made either ).

I didn't each paint chips, but I know I sniffed way too much of the old school model glue in the early 70s, listening to Led Zeppelin III.

It took me ~ 5 min to figure it out when I did the write up posted above, that the options do not show, unless you have the signature made.

PS: Your signature shows in your public profile, under the about me tab, as you noted, it was not configured this AM.

Insert your text as you would normally do in a post

The resolution is a little big but this can be used for anyone else asking this repeated question:

I use to do tutorials for forums all the time who got tiered of the same questions. Just a little something for f150online.com.
