I was a little slow Saturday or Sunday, can't remember which, but it's been very fast today.

 

Must be me then. Pages load slow.

It loads about 85% then hangs, its seems like its under a great load, been noticing this (during peak evening hours) other sites like ************** load fine compared to this site lately, too many new users maybe or TOO many ADS????

I've noticed it has slowed down lately also.

 

Yep, the mods noticed it earlier today, reported it and the administrators are looking for the problem.

 

Everything is working fine on my end...

 

Slow for me from my mobile and two different comps.

I have to be honest with you guys in saying that I'm unsure about what is going on... my hunch is that the folks at IB are tweaking a few things or some other type of maintenance is on going which was consuming and/or limiting the bandwidth output on the site.

(note: things seem faster this evening but, they were hanging pretty bad earlier -- yes, on the ads (which are out of my control)).

 

One thing I see quite often is it is hanging when it tries to load the ads. I will see "waiting for googleads.com" etc, or one of the other ad sites.

 

i get the same thing, sometimes it takes 5+ minutes to load. while other pages take less than 5 seconds, at least its not as bad as myspace where the ads refresh every 15 seconds no matter what and uses up all my bandwidth
