Anyone else ever receive a rather questionable response to their classified posting? I just got one that makes me wonder if it doesn't contain a virus or if it's a scam. I'd like to sell the item but don't know if I should respond to the sender. I did report it through the link at the bottom of the e-mail response and I also tried to look up the person's ID through the Member List. Nothing, no match.

Just looking for a little advice.

Everyone, be careful on responding to buyers for your classified listings. I received the following suspicious response and just received word from another member that he received the SAME response (just a different item).

That sounds pretty dang fishy to me. I would just leave it alone and move one. Sounds like it is just a massing email so he can scam you some how. That is what I would do.

 

That's what I thought. Another member received the same response and sent me a PM after I posted this. We both agree it's a scam.

It's been deleted and reported to the forum moderators.
