Instant notifications

Why all of a sudden can't I get instant notifiction of subscribed threads in the user cp? I used to, but now I can't seem to get the check marks to stick in the boxes. Anybody's help would be appreciated.

I was looking for some help when I posted this same issue a few days ago.

Either nobody has a clue, or they're just not bothering to reply, but obviously it's a site issue. I haven't recived a notification for about a week now.
Perhaps it's cost cutting measures

Same, they are pretty old...it has to be a server issue b/c outgoing mail is the lowest priority for share servers.

Yep i am also having a issue with being notified. I have been puzzled as to why no one was posting in some of the threads i had posted in And here i am a week or more later and I am just now getting notified. Something is jacked up.

They are now catching themselves up. The forum I admin occasionally has this problem and it fixes itself after a few days and within another few days it will be back to normal. Not all old notifications will go through though.
