150online.com and IPhone

I know I'm addicted...

Will F150online.com work ok with a device such an IPhone?

I want to buy one just to be able to go on here... :lol

Now that's addiction to the max.

All the ad banners will probably make navigation difficult (scroll bars up the wazoo), but mobile devices do work fairly well on VBulletin forums.

Ive gone to the apple store and used it. It actually works almost the same as on a PC. You can zoom in to see everything. I was impressed.

On an iPhone, it's really kind of the same experience... just a tad annoying to bounce around and scroll, zoom, and dance to the cadence...

On a SmartPhone or Palm device, it's a total PITA (trust me).

A mobile site - like the one that slickdeals.net has - would be a fantastic addition IMO but, the number of users actually carrying a mobile-web device is still fairly low.

With any less than 728 horizontal pixels, you will get a horizontal scroll bar at all times, not just when there are wide inline images in threads. It's the top ad banner - the tables themselves which form the body of the forum can squeeze down a lot farther but the top ad banner is the limiting factor - and the left side ads are fixed size too. The way this forum is structured, it's designed for minimum 800x600 resolution.

I think the iPhone is the only handheld mobile device out there so far that's adaptable to sites that are written for desktop screen resolutions without being a real pain.
