So Tirerack.com is sponsoring the Wheel, Tire, and Brakes section? Are any other forum sections going to have sponsorship? Just curious. Thanks.

Not at the moment, as forum sponsorships are something I've never sold. TireRack takes this type of approach with most of the forums they sponsor, which includes having a dedicated contact on the forum, which I think works very well for this type of product.

And to state definitively and put at ease the minds of the conspiracy theorists...this deal was negotiated long before Internet Brands ever approached me about acquiring the site, just took months to get implemented.

This form of marketing we are very good at. We sponsor and moderate dozens of web forumns, and salesman here with specific interests (ie I own an F-150, love my truck, and asked for a Ford forumn to moderate) get to answer questions and offer help. It's a win/win for everyone involved: F150online gets a sponsorship, we help get our name and knowledge out there, and I hopefully make some money from the members here as well.

It's a privilege to be on board and to be able to help you guys and gals however I can. Please contact me direct via call or PM with any questions you may have and I'll do my best to answer them in a timely manner.

Thanks.
