how do i list my mods and make a pic for my profile, when i respond in these forums?

 

Click USERCP (top left)... when in there, EDIT SIGNATURE

The thing that you're referring to is called your 'signature'.

Please remember, obscenely long or large signatures get removed so, please limit it to something very brief.


As for pictures, start a f150online.com photo gallery, upload your pics, and then link them into your signature using the vB code (there are buttons in it once you upload your pics)...

i dont see such buttons or whatever in the gallery stuff on here after uploading pics, so instead i just used a thumbnail pic from my F250 pics album in my photobucket.com account

i took the pics of the truck this morning and uploaded them

works great

any image that has jpg at the end of its address will work for the signature and threads and so on, and usually means it can be linked/used/posted/shown outside of the host site in which you upload/store pics to

It's really simple...

When you go into a gallery picture like this:

You'll see this on the lower right side:




Click the circled link -- FORUM CODES

Pending you have your popup blocker turned off, you'll see this pop up after clicking on that link:




All you have to do is HIGHLIGHT and COPY the text within the field of one of those two (you'll note that you have the option for thumbnail or full size image).

Once you've copied... it's time to paste it in to your post...

Click 'Submit Reply' .... TA-DA!

I fixed it for you...

You must add 'tags' before the beginning and at the end of the address. As I mentioned, if you were to cut or copy and paste as shown in the second window, the address has a {img} at the beginning (using [ and ]) and a {/img} at the end(using [ and ]).

That's what you were missing.
