I don't mean to be nosy, but why in the world would someone threaten you on here? That's obscene!!!

You may think it as crazy or just 'sick'. but there are professional car thiefs out there that will use your plate. say you have a nice truck and you post your pic with the plates exposed. A thief has a customer that needs a truck just like yours ( and believe me there are people out there like that).
Well he has a program that he just loads your plate info in and he can get all kinds of info on you.
He collects his 'crew' and you wake up one sunny morning to an empty drive way.
It's much faster for him than driving around the malls looking for your particular style of truck his customer need's.
If you have say an older model of truck or car that does not require a chip in the key, be very careful if your trying to sell it. Now noone should just toss the keys and let them drive off with it, of course not. But it does happen! Also the thief will carry a block of hard wax in his say coat pocket and if he has a chance will press the key onto the block.
Later on he will take an epoxy and pour it into the press and once it hardens he can take that and make a copy of your key and return to drive off into the sunset with your car!!!
This is why they are called professional's. Not the garden varity teen ager out 'punking' on a week night.
I'm sure if there are any law enforcment members on here they can concur with my observation. And don't think that I am one of these loser's. nope I'm over 50 and just wise in the ways of the world. Be very careful.

Nope. I can't say much, I'm easily entertained.
