HHmm I must not be on here as much as in the past but I just caught this yesterday.
That little scale icon in the corner when you post?
And the points? Good or bad as you accumilate them?

 

well, it hasn't really caught on too much- but if you approve of someones post, click the scale and give positive rep- if you disapprove, give negative rep... that little green box next to your post count is your reputation standing...if you hover your mouse over it it will say something like xxx is finding their way, or xxx will soon be famous etc... if you get a few negatives, the green will turn to grey, and then even more neg. will turn you red... the more positives you get, you change status, and after you have a lot, you will get a second gem thing.
the more posts you have, the greater the influence of your reputation...ie if someone with 5 posts gives this positive rep, it may be only worth 1 unit...but if you or i were to give positive rep, it could be worth 10-20units as we have many more posts...

Jeez I just asked a question and it ends up changing a feature on this site.
I feel almost like last week where my opinion meant a change being made.(When I voted)
