VIN deciphering tool

New to the site. During a search I found mention of a VIN deciphering tool on this site, where can I find this? I'd like to find out more about my truck. Thanks.

There used to be one on this site but, I guess it was a pain to keep it accurate as more and more model years came out.
The first one in this thread seems to be working....

The VIN will tell you the country of manufacture, the make, model bodystyle and engine, also the factory that produced it and the build sequence number.
Most model runs (such as 1998) were from July to July.
The sequence numbers begin with A then when the sequence count gets to 99999 it switchs to B and so on.

If your sequence number is A00001 it was the first 1998 built at that plant.
The build date is also on the driver door frame.
