By Wed it was low 3's, by Wed night mid 3's
and by today (Thursday) premium is up to 3.79 as of lunch time
Cant wait to see what it hits by the end of Labor Day......

DON'T KNOW WHY IT WAS MOVED
i was talking about the cost of filling my lightning not a honda civic or my mustang, or an f150 diesel.

so i just don't understand

The news just said that the New Orleans area is only responsible for 11% of the refineries that we are dependent on. Seems like the remaining 89% could easily pick-up the slack for a few weeks. Course, the oil companies DID just post a 7 BILLION dollar profit! It's just simple greed.

out prices out in Cali are actually not that bad yet. 3.09 for premium. However they did go up after the hurricane. Not sure why because California refines all of its own gas within the state; we're special I guess.

There is nothing lightning specific about high gas prices
Very VERY few threads get moved - This was one that had nothing specific to do with Lightnings and is a subject shared by EVERY member here - so it goes in Gen discussion
