hey mods,
I can't seem to log into my gallery at all. if I type in my username and ask for a password reminder, i get a "this user is not registered" message. The gallery is still there as i can still link to it with this

i don't get it
any ideas?

You should be able to use the same username/password for the galleries as for the forums, not the name of your gallery (which is different in your case). The forum software controls the password reminder, so if you are being told your username is not registered, you are likely putting in the wrong username.
That was what i was already doing, but I tried again just to make sure. I even logged off the forums and then back in to make sure my password was the one I thought it was. It still won't work. i fill the login page details and hit enter and get this page:
https://www.f150online.com/galleries/index.cfm
which then automatically redirects to itself and freezes my browser for about 20 seconds or so.
could it be anything to do with internet settings? (although i haven't changed anything for ages)
I've just followed the links to register for a gallery and it tells me that I already have one and that my user name is marzipan (as you said). I'm truly confused.

You have described two different problems, both of which are completely distinct.
I addressed your question about retrieving your password. Your followup message addresses a problem with being able to remain logged into your gallery.
The latter is likely caused by overly paranoid browser security settings. Allowing all cookies and/or popups will ensure things will function properly.
