same goes with sellers
I got scammed on ebay back in Dec 04
I paid him with a money order of $53.00 for his used tonneu cover for the L
its just the leather part for $53.00
No product as of today.......filed a claim against him
but if I want to do more than that with ebay, they told me to send $25.00 for processing fee and they MIGHT get somewhere.........
the money order company told me he cashed it but if I want to file a claim, I have to send in $25.00 to recover it........plus a police report.
I learned that lesson to pay with money order, I only buy private party stuffs with paypal now.......

can we stop with the scam alerts please.

Its the WWW. There are scmmers out there. End of story.

Cripes. It seems every other day someone is asking "is this a scam"

If you don't know, please give the checkbook back to Mommy. This is a little insensitive of me, but how can people afford $30-40K trucks... but can't afford a clue?

This is almost as good as people asking "did I get a good deal" AFTER they buy the truck. Like it will make a difference.

Smarten up please.

Not like your L brethren even visit any other forum. If they did, they'd see the other 100 posts about scams.
