I received this email from someone looking at my classified. Can you check to see if he is a member. The broken english suggests it is a scam. The email came from daniel_buyer@yahoo.com.

I'm Interested in buying your advertised( Accessories )Well,I have seen the advert and I think I 'll like to contact the seller before I can proceed.So i want you to email me some recent pics of it and also i want you to get back to me with the actual price for it so as for me to proceed with this transaction.So I'll be paying with a Bank Drafit Cashier's Check which was drawn from a United State for American Bank.So get back to me as soon as possible with thoseinformations.

It's a scam, go ahead and delete the email. There are at least fifty posts about similar scams on the forums.

 

Membership is not pre-approved. There was no background check on you, was there? So even if this scammer is a member, that doesn't mean that Steve can do anything about it.

 

Has nothing else better to do than to try and scam.
