Postings links using a word?

Someone help me out here please. Although I'm sure there's a term for what I want to accomplish, I don't know what it is, so searching really isn't an option. How do you guys change a link to a website to show up as a word or words? Example: You may want to check THIS out. The "THIS" would be underlined and/or red and would direct you to the link if clicked on. What is the term used for this, and how is it done?
Any help would be much appreciated!

SL

RP,

The new admins may have 86'd the post that included how to post hyperlinks, embedded links, etc. Do you have it saved somewhere, or can you access it somehow?

Thanks,

SL

Use the link icon and type your addy in,
then you simply change the addy to the word you want to use like this.....
(the first bracket was left off intentionally so that you can see the format)

URL="www.f150online.com"]www.f150online.com

TO THIS....

URL="www.f150online.com"]FORD TRUCKS

here it is in format

www.f150online .com

Ford trucks

This site doesnt automatically underline or bold links, so simply add your or or both to your script like this...

URL="www.f150online.com"][ b][ u]Ford trucks

Ford trucks

Doh the herder beat me to it...
