question for mods: advertising policy

Hey, I'm fairly new to this board and I have a question regarding the policy on advertising For Sale items. I have a set of rims on ebay and i would like to post the link on this site. What is the policy for doing something like this? Is it ok to just do it? do i have to pay? On my old Focus forum we had to pay $1 per ad. However,I noticed there was no "For Sale" category on this website so I was thinking it might be ok to just post the ad. But wanted to make sure first. Thanks

The Classifieds would be the best place.

No problem. I've been here a while, I may as well help 1 person!

Shane:

First and foremost; we appreciate your question and further thank you for asking before posting.

Secondly, Tuff is correct. The classifieds are offered as a free resource to f150online.com members as a way to sell and locate items for their trucks. Overall, the classifieds have been a great success on our boards and are frequented often by many members.

Thanks again.

And, by the way tough, you're not classified as having been here a 'while' until you've been here for 2 years + . LOL!

Geesh... if ever there was an 'open mouth, insert foot' comment ever made on f150online.com... I shall refrain though...

feels longer than that. I feel really old. I was perusing the forums for a year or 2 before I finally registered. I guess I just had nothing to say before then. I guess I have nothing to say now.

Hmmm.. I suppose that means I just whored a post.
