Question What the Heck does this mean???

I see this sometimes after trying to reply to a post:

What the hell does it mean?

I click "BACK" and click "SUBMIT", and it goes through fine.

It means the poor server choked for a bit. Go back and move on. I get errors everyday. After I win the millions I'll offer up a dedicated server and evalute the bandwidth situation...

The actual message is supposed to be shown when the thread you are trying to access no longer exists. It may have been removed if it was a classified or if it contain improper content.

Steve,

I've noted this coming up on a very sporadic basis when posting as well. Further, I know that the thread still existed within a publically available forum.

Like he mentioned, you click back and then click Submit Reply again and it goes through... I've been unable to replicate the problem and thus, to me, it seems VERY random.

Ditto here. The only other glitch I see with the site is it will occationaly stall. If I click on the a link again (for example, a thread or to mark all posts read) the browser attempts contact, waits... waits... nuttin. But if I click again.. poof! Very odd. Some days worse than others. I figured it was server load. But what do I know, I'm a lowly user.. :santa:

I have that happen too. When it does, refreshing the page usually gets it moving again.
