In the past I was always able to send/receive PMs. When I tried to send a PM today, I got a message that said "Your Administrator has disabled Private Messaging". What does that mean and how do I correct it so I can again send/receive PMs ?

 

I think you're mistaken or confusing us with another site. PM's have never been enabled here.

 

Really ? You may be right although in the thread I started there were a couple of people who asked for PMs to be sent. How is that possible ?

 

They were obviously not aware that it is not enabled prior to making the request. "PM me" has become as ubiquitous on discussion forums these days as "email me."
