Slow to load?

Over the last couple of days I've noticed that the pages have been very slow to load on my computer.
The F-150 Online header on the top of the page shows up instantly but the rest of the text takes about 20 seconds or so to pop up.
Is ther something I can do to resolve this problem?
Like I said it, seems to be a recent problem that did not occur before.
Any help would be appreciated.

I tried to refresh but that doesn't seem to help.
It's curious that this problem of mine only started a couple of days ago but only on this site.
Any other ideas?
Thanks!

Sometimes its slow to load for me too. Once in a while my computer will 'time out'.

For those experiencing slow load times, have you performed a tracert to see if a bad hop is the cause. The header is likely loading quickly because it is cached. I know that a major provider has been having hardware problems since Monday, which has resulted in a big-time slowdown for me.

comcast stops tracert traffic

Tracing route to f150online.com [66.179.14.118]

Could you please explain how I would go about doing that? My computer skills are somewhat questionable.
Maybe the problem IS on my side but why it started happening just in the last couple of days is a mystery to me.
There's a lot of great info here but it's frustrating as heck if you can't get to it.

Click start
then go up to run -
click it and then type command or cmd ( depending on your version of windows )

[You can also try START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>COMMAND PROMPT - in most versions of windows as Mike said ]

and then a black box opens - In that BLACK BOX box type -

tracert f150onlliine.com

and look for the * * if you see asterisks like in my tracert that means either that HOP is SLOW or like in my case the returns are being blocked....

then copy and paste the results here leaving off the first hop ( to hide your IP address)

Dumb question here as I'm not savvy with DOS. When I run the tracert, everything appears to operate normally however, the window closes on it's own once it has run... How do I keep the window open?

I followed you directions and what happens is that a black window appears for a split second and then disappears.
Sorry for all the questions but it's a little frustrating.
Am I doing something wrong?

Mike,

That makes two.

You've exploited my nasty habit of 'skimming' through a post. I promise to read more carefully... If I do it again, I'm going to go to the chalk board and write "I will read more carefully" 150 times.
