Question Search issues

Could we have it so that we can search for words under the length of three? Seeing as how acronyms are used so much on these boards there are many things we cannot search for. There are also many short words that we should be able to search for in our search. I just tried to search for "oil separator" and I couldn't. Or if I wanted to search for "gas mileage" I couldn't.

After the search index rebuild of a couple days ago, the minimum length is now 3, maximum length is now 12.

Question

Since Sandman is beating around the bush asking for "search for words under the length of three" I'll just come right out and ask for it, what I want is a search for words under the length of two. So, what I want is is a search length of 'One'.

I want to enter a vowel and have the server fetch me all 1,206,580 posts.

Sometimes I'll give it a break and type a 'Z'.

I want to know who used the letter 'Q' in 1999, you know that kind of stuff.

How about it?

Thanks webmaster!

Sorry Raoul, I guess you'll just have to do your searches the long way... looking thru one thread at a time.
