question for the webmaster?
Dear webmaster,
I wanted to put some small pics in my signature, but them have them linked to the full size pic where my images are hosted. To do this I put the [img] tag inside the [url] tag. When I included my signature, the link to the pic showed up as " the address of the pic and the UBB image tags in plain text" instead of the small pic showing up instead. If I edit the message and change nothing, it works like it should and the text is replaced with the small pic as you will see on this post, however, I have to allways edit with no changes for the pic to show in the signature.
Was wondering if there was an explanation for this and also, this would probably be easier to do if HTML was turned on and I was wondering if there was a reason that it was not on...for instance, html and UBB not allowed at the same time.
Thanks for any insight you can give me on this.

I'm not the webmaster but I do kind of have an answer for you.
1. the reason you can't put pictures in your sig & have them show up the first time is that the system just wasn't written to handle it. The reason it shows up after you edit is because it is no longer your sig. it is part of the message. That is also why when you edit you don't get a "add sig" checkbox.
The solution: Keep a text file of your sig on your desktop or somewere handy & paste it into the bottom of your message & then don't check the "show sig" box.
As for HTML being turned off. I would assume it is because If you put in incorrect HTML it could break the whole page. Also you could insert bad javascript to hurt the server.
