Deleting your own topics
In the past, users were able to delete topics that they started. I removed that ability shortly after the first problem user (had "dan" in his username) removed the "evidence" that they created.
I aimed to no longer allow that to happen, as I need the problem message threads to point to when I contact an ISP.

Thanks. Might get a response out of that question yet!

I understand that a user should be able to delete topics that he starts. I tried to delete a topic that I had started and to which nobody had responded for a few days. I got the message that only the moderator can delete topics. Is this normal? Not a big deal; just wondering if I'm doing something wrong.
BTW, thanks for all the behind the scenes work that enabled me to edit my profile!
