Question Strange pproblem?

For the last two weeks I have not been recieving notices of replies for the threads that I subscribed to? I knew something was up when I did'nt gey any mail from F150online for 3 days straight!

It's not like I'll stop visiting the site but I'm used to checking out the topics that I follow before browsing all else.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Merry X-mas & a Happy New Year to all! :santa:

LePew,

Have you checked your user profile to be sure the email notification of thread you posted in has been checked?
That's the only thing I could think of, sorry!

What I always do when I get to the site is do a search on my user name... to see if there's any new activity...

Have you been back to the threads you subscribed to ? The system only sends ONE email per thread no matter how many replies..

I checked my user profile all is fine there. Did the search on my own user name and got a chronological list of all the threads I subscribe to and they are active. Good tip Closer9, but alas still no E-mail response.

I thought maybe the cookie for this site was messed up so dumped all my cookies and then got a new cookie because I did'nt know what else to try?

Thanks for all the help everyone, keep it coming. :santa:

If you or your ISP has provided any anti-spam tools, check that out as a possible culprit. I immediately delete "please confirm that you have sent..." messages, as I feel it is the responsibility of anyone that has opted-in to this site to allow messages from it.

FWIW, how your cookies from F150online are configured would not be relevant, as that is a client-side issue (i.e. your computer) and sending mail is a server-side issue. (i.e. our site)

Thanks for the tip Webmiester, I'll look into the anti-spam situation and see what happens.

Spent last night downloading patches and updates on dial up .......... we're talking hours here! Lo & behold I got the first notice of reply since I cant remember when just today!

I'm hoping that it's no fluke or coinkeedink but only time will tell.

Thak you all for for your help and suggestions.

Have you spoken to your ISP? As we've said, nothing has changed on this end, so it likely an overly paranoid SPAM filter somewhere on your end.
