Somebody snuck into the forum overnight and swiped 30 of my posts!!!

During the night my post count went from 710 to 680. Anyone else notice the same thing? Or could this be the first sign of alzheimers?

Im not sure what happened BUT my guess is that Steve ran maintenance on the database which corrected numbers.

Doug is exactly correct. Periodically I run database maintenance that will update a user's post counts. Posts may have been made in a forum that doesn't count toward your post count (like Gen Disc) when they did count.

Hopefully this will help with the "Server busy" I always see...

In any case, post count lose or not, its no biggy, this is an excellent site nonetheless...

Yeah, I lost close to 900 posts! Something just isn't right, it hasn't been adding them to my posts in General Discussion.

General Discussion posts don't add to your overall count...

Wow, this whole system maintenance thing really rattled some cages out there... and to think, the guys that are considered' ******' who lost over TWO THOUSAND posts haven't even chirped about it...

Wow... imagine that.
