How do I get a sig in my posts?

I have stuff in my profile to go in my sig, but it doesn't show up on my posts. Do I have to activate the sig or something?

At the bottom of the Post Reply gray screen are 4 boxes. Check the box marked Show Signature.

Your post now includes your sig.

Is there a way you can turn the show sig option default to on so you don't have to check the box for each post or reply?

I don't believe there is. I believe it is an option each time so everyone will not always use it. I could be wrong but I believe it takes more resources when one always uses their signature...
