It is not just a fancy radio, it has a has a lower valance much like the Harley, that you cannot get on anything else, clear lensed headlamps only avalable on the STX, Heritage and the King Ranch that has its own forum, and a Grill not avalable in any other Ford truck.

By the Way I liked the XLT Sport wheels better also

Well we tried, I guess if we wanted our own forum we should not have tried to have a unique vehicle such as the STX, we should have got a Heritage.

well since they keep saying that it is just a trim package would all the speical editions be like that since there all just add on packages to the xl f-150. since that is were everything started unless you want to mention the fact of the custom 100's or explore edition for the 70's. oh well all i know is that you can no longer get the truck i am driving. 5.4, moonroof, or tow package. since that isnt offered on the new expy opps i mean 150. lol

You know under normal conditions I would move on but I guess when I cant get a response then that tends to bother me to death. It is like calling and leaving a voice mail for someone that doesn’t have the courtesy to return the call. I mean it did only take 6 days for a senior member of the site to even respond.

another factor in this is the traffic to the forum. I'm just looking at the post count of the STX owners in this thread.

It seems you guys don't have alot to say.

you do know that we are under the other f-150 section right. We were posting the question there but couldnt get an answer. so we posted the question here in hopes for an answer. however the best answer that came up was it was just a trim package. So i then asked the question isnt every f150 a trim package over the f150 xl. any ways i guess since were not lighting owners we dont have a hole lot to say.

the whole "is STX a dedicated model" is one arguement, however at least 95% of the questions you would have are covered off in other forums eg engines, transmissions, appearance products etc.

The Lightning guys have alot to say in their own forum around modding and racing that are pretty much Lightning only discussions.

I can see why you would want a dedicated forum, but in a lot of ways it wouldn't make sense based on the traffic to that forum.

Just look at the traffic on the Excursion and Blackwood forums and they are pretty unique vehicles.

Hey, can we get a regular cab forum? I think these trucks are pretty unique, and well, Ford doesn't even make these things anymore... and I think several of us would have stuff to say about our lack of space/doors...
