Server too busy---anyone else?
Steve could you give us some info on this?
If you are 'working on it' that's great.
If there is 'nothing you can do at this time', that's fine too.
But, if you are not aware that it is a persistent problem and are not being made aware of it either by members, system messages or your provider then let us know.
I have been getting this mesage off and on for the past week or so. I wait about fifteen seconds, hit the back button and try again.
after few tries of this I log off and try later.
It doesn't happen everytime I am on but, most times it does.
I know better than to complain about a free website.
Just watching your back, if you were unawares.
I wouldn't want your visitors to get frustrated. They don't know how great the site is and might move along to something else as the attention span of a web surfer is very short.

Raoul,
I have received fewer reports of this happening since I made a few back-end configuration changes a few days back.
We are running into hardware limitations again, in part due to the increased traffic that Google is sending us.
There are three options:
1) Ignore it and hope it goes away. (the least likely option)
2) Upgrade the hardware and commit to a higher monthly operating cost (perhaps)
3) Wait until the newer version of the forum software is released, install it and see if that helps (likely solution)
I'm afraid that I don't have a timeframe for the forum upgrade, but the software is in "beta 5" so it's getting closer.
All I can ask is that people be patient and it will get worked out. Thanks.
Steve

I have seen the errors also, but thanks so much for all of the work that you do for this site. I am not completely sure how much you do, though I know it is tons... and thanks so much, this site has helped me out so much in many ways. If you ever do consider adding a paypal donation box like SVT F150 mentioned, I would be happy to help you out by donating some money. I also offer my help in anything else you need. Thanks again, keep up the awesome work!
Steve, just want to say I agree with everything in GreenBuck50s post, except the giving you money part.
(I will however, write you a check for any amount you name, no problem)
