Funny thunk noise.
When ever I am turning on a incline or decline you can hear a slight pop/thunk noise. I jacked up the truck and checked for anything loose in the front but couldn't find anything, I jiggled the tires, no play, jiggled all the steering componets hooked to ball joint and didn't have any play.
that's a good possiblity since I just got the new wheels and put new brakes on I might have missed a lug or 2 since I had been taking the wheels on and off so many times.
I have to get my wheels pretty snug or else the lugs will work loose.
I only have problems with the drives side rear though, I assume because of the braking and direction of rotation. I have to torque it to 95 ftlbs other wise it will work loose.

my front lugs come loose a lot and the wheel makes that thunk/pop noise, thats why i mentioned it. did the noise go away after you tightened them?

mine does that two, it's got new ball joints, shocks, outer u-joints, I think it's those rubber bushing things that go back to the frame, I can't remeber what they call them...

after about 50 miles you should tighten them again,
If I dont torque mine down as tight as I can get them I gotta re-torque EVERY 50 miles. Re-torquing only brings them back to where they were 50 miles before.
