You have a 95 amp. I got a ford tech to hook up my truck to a meter, and which ac on, headlights on stereo blasting, and a load put on by the machine, I was only using 60 amps. So I have the 20 to spare for the fans !!!!

Tell me what ya did in terms of your fans? I hooked dual 14's up on my mustang, but I wanna make sure the truck is the same / similar. Did you see any noticable diff with the elctric fans? HP, MPG, etc?
Thanks
Joe

Thumbs up

I was always told that you needed a 130 amp to run a mark8 fan in the mustangs. I wonder what size alt comes on the new trucks. Do you think this 95 would be big enough for dual fans?

The Mark 8 fans pull ALOT of power. The new trucks w/ the tow package come a 130A alt. The fans that I am going to be using are military grade (20,000hrs each) in a custom shroud. Each fan pulls 15A @ start up for 2-3 seconds. From then on, they pull 10A each. It will have a dual controller setup, and 1 fan comes on anytime the AC compressor comes on. The fans also back up one another, so say that 1 goes out, the other would go into a continuous loop. Once I get it installed, I will take many pics, and will tell you everything about them.
