Well I've had my truck 2 years now and I had my smog test coming up so I went ot get tested yesterday and I FAILED! My emissions and visial check was fine but my function test is what failed, because my "Check Engine" lights doesn't work...If I knew that was part of the test I would have fixed it but anyways, they gave me one free retest which I passed because I ran home and changed the bulb and fixed it in about 10 minutes.

I've had the truck for 2yrs and the CE light has never worked but I was always putting it off because I thought it would be a mess to change...but really only took me 10minutes max to switch...I feel so lazy for not doing this a long time ago.

 

LOL the bulbs are real simple to change. The hardest part is getting to them.
