I finally got a chance to work on the truck,and i did what you said and it all worked out.
She runs like a champ!
It's amazing how little crap can make you go crazy....but couldn't have done it without you guys.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead... but.... what advanteges are there with upgrading to a mass air??

i have a 4.9L 300, i'm not building it up, ie- no boring, cams or any of that. I plan on just an exhaust, intake, and an electric fan for reliablity sake. I'm more concerned with gas milage than i am HP at this point in time.

if i'm not going for big performace, its it worth $500-$1000?

what are the pros and cons?????
