A skill lost, rear ends

I was taught a few years ago how to measure, rebuild, and swap gears in rear ends(diff). Now I can't remember any of it because I never got much practice while learning and now I've worked on Saturns for a few years- no reason to change gears on saturns.

I lost the know how.

Anyhoo, does anyone have a book that shows this in great detail with lots-o-pics that they'd like to recommend?
Thanks

Their not cheap but makes Chilton's look like childrens books. The ones above are even brand new, but there are always used manuals from dealers on ebay. I dont think you can get a better book since these are from the authority.

Heres a page from myl '89 factory manual. There are 25 pages in all on the 8.8 rear end, including a backlash/shim change guide. Lots of pics to read too.
