You can do them all. Just have to educate yourself on how to do some things.
whenever you need help, post here, search, read, book stores, car shows, ask a mechanic, ask an old person

Really i am just scared to do it without having very detailed instructions cause i dont want to screw anything up.

But, if i start small i might get better at it

Eventually i want to come out around 300 H.P.

any really good manuals out there

I know i am gonna do an FIPK of some sort and have some exaust work done

By the way I have a 94' F150 XL Supercab 4x2 351w with auto trans. and the trailor/towing package

oh yeah it only has 35000 miles on it

wow! sounds like a nice truck

300 is right at the breaking point of more than just bolt ons.
Exahst and a FIPK are a good start, since no matter what youll do you'll want more air in and out. Headers would get you a few pony's as well, and are easy to install. The hardest part about those is rusted bolts (might not be a prob if your truck only has 35k). Since you have done some wiring for stereos, an electric fan would probably be an easy mod for you. I just did that on my '89 f-50 4x4 w/ 351 and could help you with that. It made a slight power increase and it runs smoother and raps up slightly quicker. They claim up to 15hp gain, seems high, but it is good for a few at least. I could tell you how to do if for a little over $100. Some of the guys here have chips, but they seem to me like a hit or miss on working properly/well, but some guys say they get good gains.

As far as books etc, the hardest part about any mod is assembly/dissasembly. Chiltons helps some, but I have a Ford factory service manual. Its like a chiltons on steroids. It has the same diagrams and instructions chiltons uses, but it is specific for your year and has about 15x's the info. Expensive, but worth the money IMO.

Like inski21 said, ask people here also. A lot of guys have done mods and can make recomendations or offer advice.
