Picked Up my new truck (New to me)

Well, I went and picked up my 93 F150 XLT S/C, V8, 5-Speed, 4X4 last night. The guy I bought it from said it had started running a little rough in second gear until you started to get to the shift point. I got it home, pulled the plugs and he has Splitfire Plugs in the truck that the center electrode was almost gone on all 8. No wonder it ran like crap. I installed a set of Champion Truck plugs and it purrs like a kitten. Runs like a top and good gas milage. I just drove it to our Indianapolis Office (200 Miles) and it did better than my 4.9L.

It needs some little things and some TLC, but it looks good, straight and clean body, no rust, good tires. I am happy. A little nervous, sometimes dealing with the devil you know vs. the devil you don't know kinda thing.

Have a good weekend!
