I finally got 2 of my 'wish list' items installed.

1- RoadMaster Active Suspension helper springs. They really seem to work as advertised. It took about 2 hours to put them on. They were pure bolt-on with no loosening or messing with anything on the truck. Just put together, bolt around the axle U-bolts and tighten. They seem to keep the rear of the truck from feeling all loosey-goosey around corners and limit my wheel hop on hard starts. They definitely help when it comes to pulling my 3000+ lb boat. Well worth the $230.

2- Goodyear 31x10.5 ATD LT tires. These tires do hum a little bit but not too bad. They have great tread, square shoulders, and I can't wait to get to the Outer Banks next month to take them in the sand.

I also plan to put some Racho 5000's on before my beach trip. I have the original shocks and my truck bounces like a wagon. I really want some lights but I don't think I'll get around to them before my trip.

Thanks for letting us know how satisfied you are with the products...My g/f has those tires on her exploder and they are great....the hum did get a lil louder after a while but it's not even a bad humming...it's soothing, I plan on also putting on some Rancho's.

 

I like the Outer Banks part. That sounds fun.

 

I ALSO HAVE GOODYEAR ATDS AND NEVER EVEN REALIZED THEY HUM -I NEVER HAD ANY HUMMING I LOVE THEM THEIR GREAT OFF ROAD BUT ON THE ROAD MY TRUCK RIDES LIKLE A LINCOLN EXEPT I FELT A BIG DIFFERENCE WHEN I HIT THE BUMPS COMPARED TO THE 235/75/15 TIRES I HAD BEFORE
