3" Body lift on 83

I am pitting a Trailmaster 3" body ift on my 83 250. I am having an issue with the radiator. It comes with 2 flimsy brackets to drop the radiator but I cannot see how to use these or if they would even hold the radiator. The best explination of the brackets is thay look like the tin brackets with holes in them that hold up the exhaust, and about the same thickness as the exhaust brackets.

I was wondering if anyone knows how to drop the radiator without cutting the radiator support. also should I drop the radiator or go to a salvage yard and try to find an electric fan to modify so I don't have to drop the radiator.

Thank you

I'm pretty sure those brackets are to drop the radiator shroud down.
You will lose some fan air flow with this method....but its better then losing the whole shroud.
My first F-250 was an 83 and also put a 3" body lift on it.
It worked for me with no problems.
Hope this helps.
