Flamed Bumper
Well, my rear bumper was getting kinda grungy looking, so i decided to paint it. I used gloss silver rustoleum and painted the whole thing, and then i used flat silver engine paint, and did the flames. Not as ghosty as i hoped, but it still looks good. Pics don't do it justice either, cuz when i resized them, they don't look as good as if you saw the truck in person. Next week, i'm going to take off the white side boxes, and repaint them white, and do blue flames on those to match the body paint. LoL. Its my pimped out work truck. LoL
So, what do you guys think???

I gotta admit, when I was reading your post, I was cringing, but when I saw the pics, i thought "that's pretty f**king cool!!!". I think it looks great, and just goes to show how narrow minded I can be sometimes. Great job!!!
Take care,

Thanks PKRWUD.
LoL. Anyway, yeah, whenever i'm bored and i can't work on the trucks, i'll just draw flames on some paper or something, so i've gotten quite good at it. And both sides of the bumper are mirror images, so it looks symmetrical because i drew a template 1st, then transferred it onto the masking tape, then cut it out, and painted the flames.
And now that the sun has gone behind some clouds, and the bumper ISN"T in direct sunlight, its almost impossilbe to see the flames from the end of my drive, so from about 40 feet away. So it is more ghosty than i thought it would be. In direct sunlight, you can see them from that distance, but if the suns not shining right on it, or if there's a shadow, you can't see it from that far, only up close. So it turned out better than i thought.
Thanks guys.
