Thumbs up We Won Tonight!!!

Finally! Our first win of the season! Jim (owner/driver) drove it better than I have ever seen him drive before! Of course he said anyone could drive like that when the car was set up so perfectly. He credited me and fellow member Dave Fox with the win, because of the way we set it up, but his driving was awesome. It was a neck and neck battle, and was definately one of, if not the, most exciting Senior Sprint Car races I have ever seen. Thrilling!

Then again, maybe it was Justin (SPROCKET_X) and his friend John that won it for us. They came down and hung out with us in the pits, so maybe it was them that brought us our good luck. What ever it was, we needed it! I hope the two of them had a good time. They got to see several great races, two Sprint Cars flipping several times, simultaneously, and a pair of the nicest store bought breasts this side of Las Vegas. They did seem to enjoy themselves.

Anyway, I just felt like sharing. Thanks for listening (reading)!!

Take care,
-Chris

That was great!!! I got home and my girlfriend was kind of pissy I didn't take her...so I'll be back. That is some driver, talent on both the driver and the crew I must say. I was in red neck heaven and loved it! Thanks again chris for hanging out with me and my buddy
we both enjoyed you and the very expensive rack on that lady.(shhhhh grilfriend is near by)

BTW I ran over a little kitten on my way home It was about 1:30am and dark/foggy and I just got off the 126 and was on the old road and a little black fuzz ball ran right in front of me...to make it worse it was a black kitten(bad luck), I'm a cat lover and my buddy has tons of cats so we felt realy bad

Cool

Congrats on the win Chris. There is always a calm before the storm so hopefully your storm is just beginning. And I am sure that if you have any control, that this storm will continue till the end of the season.

Good Luck on all of your other race dates.

Have Fun & Keep on Truckin'
Dean

Thanks guys!!!

Justin-
That SUCKS about the kitten!!! I wish you hadn't said anything! i have 7 cats myself, so I guess I qualify as a "cat person", but either way, that totally SUCKS! Where were you when it happened? it was hard to tell by your description. 126 runs all the way to the 5, but it changes from a freeway to a highway in Santa Paula. Let me know. I'm very bummed for you (and the kitten)!!!

I am glad you had a good time, though! You absolutely should bring your girlfriend down sometime! And her friends, too! Our next race at Ventura is July 13th (3 weeks), but we won't be back there again until August 31st. The line up for July 13th will be the same as it was yesterday (regular Sprints, Senior Sprints, IMCA modifieds, and Dwarf cars), and on August 31st, it will just be the Senior Sprints, and the SCRA boys. SCRA are the guys I was telling you about with the $35k all aluminum 410ci engines! You'd love SCRA, and your girlfriend will probably love the Dwarf cars, so I think you should come to both!! I'll even try to impress your girlfriend for you by asking your advice on something while we're setting up the car!

Let me know.

Take care,
-Chris

hey don't get to bumed over the kitten...it happened right when the 126 turns into the 5...I got on the "old road" which runs parallel(sp?) with the 5.
As for the 13th...I would go but thats when I have the "Richard Petty" driving school I was telling you about. $380 to drive a Wiston cup car around california speedway 8 times.
I wish I could make it the 13th but I'll keep August open in my calendar!

I forgot all about that! You're gonna have a blast!

Well, try for the end of August, then. The SCRA guys are AWESOME!!! But, the admission prices are $5 more for everything.
